I installed tha Max brake in my 96 dodge ctd and the next time I drove the truck the brake pedal was soft. I check the fluid, it was sloightly low. I know I filled. Idrive in to town and the Brakes go to the floor. they come back in one pump. Then the low vacuum light comes on. I check when I get home no leakes at the wheels. I was thinking the worst master cyl or vacuum booster. I sleep on it , crawl under truck and lookup all over fuel tank BRAKE FLUID! The truck spent 3 winters in Conn and the remaining years in NC. I think you are right the lines need to be replaced as preventitive maint.
