Jonas my first pickup was a 78 just like this one only it had a 360 instead of the 440. It will pull your load with no problem. I loved full time 4 wheel but as for mileage I only got 12 mpg on a good day. The 440 may be a little thirstier. I'd ask the seller what he got. As for a price, $2500 would be fair I would think. He can only come back with his counter offer.
