cobbling 2 wheel drive beds to fit does not fit my definition of original - its more like repurposing or being creative, both are OK. i do not care about originality if the changes make the use of the vehicle more enjoyable or safer. i have a command car with disc brakes, a dual cylinder master, alternator, petronix and power steering. i have 4.89 gears and will eventually go radial tires to eliminate the bumpy ndt tires. nothing drastic, but safer and more enjoyable for me. do what you want.
