The two levers on the passenger side of the emergency brake are the 4 wheel drive lever, (closer to the ER Brake lever) and the high/low gear change lever,(closer to the passenger door.
I am assuming the levers are pulled toward the seat. If you push them toward the front of the cab you will take the truck out of 4 wheel drive, and put the truck back in it's higher speed range.
Also, UNLOCK the front hubs to complete the process of switching back to two wheel drive.
There maybe a plaque on the dashboard that has a diagram showing which lever is which. If not, go to vintagepowerwagons.com
