Wow, what a kludge. From what I've been reading, not only to they have the urea injector, but they had to make it "tamper proof", had to make it shut off the engine if not refilled, have heaters to keep the lines from freezing, and had to make it use a special "fluid" at $7.50 per gallon that is nothing but urea in water. You could probably get a whole sack of urea fertilizer at the feed store for less than the cost of one refill of this "special fluid". If I ever got stuck with one of these trucks, the first thing I'd do is figure out how to bypass the system and run without it. If for some reason I couldn't do that, I'd figure out how to mix up my own solution out of fertilizer or maybe just refill the tank with "natural" urea solution.
