Personally, the stop at the Meteror Crater was a waste of the gas to drive from the interstate to the visitor center. I have seen a lot of awesome things exploring God's creation - that wasn't one of them. But, if it is close to your route - and you like big holes and unsubstaintiated theories - go for it.
