I had carefully measure everything, and boy it it was all screwed up! So I figured if I started at the rear-to-transfer, by shimming the transfer case, I'd get something right, then I would have to shim the engine to get the intermediate right, and forget the front, it would be fubar. So, shim the transfer case 1/4 inch, which fixed the rear shaft angle. And since it also lowered the front of the transfer case, the rerar u-joint of the intermediate shaft moved more then the front u-jt, so wa-laa, fixed both the intermediate and rear drive line angels in one swoop. So then I re-measured the front drive line angles, expecting total fubarness, and surprise surprise Sgt Carter!, the whole fam dammily was aligned!
There was no visible benty-ness to frame or transfer case cross member, makes me wonder just how well things were aligned at teh factory?
Anyhow, between adjusting the u-jt angles and spacing the cab up off the frame, it is very quiet inside- for a FFPW!
