In need of a truck...

Right now my only truck is a 53 power wagon. I like driving it into town, but it's got it's limitations.
I've found a '96 F250 4x4 diesel 5 speed regular cab with all the bells and whistles and just over 3000 original miles on it. Thats right only 3000 original miles on it, for $14,500

Or should I go with a '72 W200 sno-fitter with 360, 4 speed, D70's (4.10) and flatbed for $1200? Unknown mileage on the Dodge, but you can bet it's a lot.
