I saw a show once on Discovery Channel ??? that they just took some fire hose and ran it down the mountain and sprayed it at a water wheel crudely attached to a generator.Enough to power a hostel at the bottom. Just gravity feed.I think it was in New Zealand. Try a google search. KH
