I picked up a new rig, 06 Dodge 3500 5.9 ( new to me ) the old f**d, 6.0 blew up shortly after the rally. It had the bad 6.0 in it.
We trailered out to SD early this summer, in the Dodge never saw over 10 mpg, couple of tank fulls in the hills we saw 8.5 mpg.
I talked to other owners, it was not uncommon.
My old 97 Dodge 5.9 got alot better mileage.
It couldnt move out of its own way, but it was better on fuel.
