There a shaft that goes thru the center then lock nuts on both ends? Remove the lock nuts and shaft, so it's just bare frame
Would that not give a inch or two to replace the ebrake.
I never truthfully look at mine
But I know I could pull the center pin and gain 2" between brake and frame.
