this just seems wrong to me unless your just wanting a bolt in/out application. ALL parts are interchangeable on the 4 bt, parts can be swapped,core charges paid etc.even after market "hot rod" stuff. what you get here is a starting point. to do what ever you want or can afford.this engine in a marine application goes 250hp with stock fuel settings.I'm not trying to piss anyone off but for a guy like me who's been tweaking around performance wise with cummins for 35 years this is an excellent opportunity. in so many ways!! cpls can be crossed and even combined with experience to make these little engines scream. we did one 2 years ago that made 350hp(wheelhp) with reasonable drive-ability. the "field pump" used in industrial engines may also interest a number of pw people,given its ability to maintain rpm in reference to load with out the need to adjust the foot or hand throttle position IE winching or other pto op's.no need for woodward governor or the like. just some points to consider from a cummins guy...
