Joe, that's Costa Rican balsa. Got a little more color than the commercial Equadorian, which is grown commercially. I usually get trees that have fallen over. I'm working on one now out of spanish cedar(smells like cedar, but is in the mahogany family) and another out of laurel, kinda looks like walnut with white grain running thru it. The cedar and laurel are fairly light for hardwoods. All of the bds. are hollow
