The low pressure return line must have NO back pressure. The low pressure return line only has flow when the pedal is released. Any back pressure and strange things can happen. Best is to plumb the Low pressure line to a separate return port on the PS Pump or PS tank. If this is not possible you can use a 'WYE' at the PS pump or tank. The low pressure line must enter the 'WYE' so it is joining the flow, not opposing it. Know what I mean ?
