Anthony, I would start with Parts books and mechanics motor manuals, these are good sorces to help identify components and explaine what the componets are desgned to do.
Alot of the Motor manuals have a generic explanation of systens thast apply to several makes and models of trucks you will find helpfull.
As good as you are ar finding stuff on the net you should be able to come up with any of it.
