I'd like to see the tag. How about a picture of it? If you can't post it just e-mail it to me. If you change the third number to a "6" it would fall in line with a VIN for a 1960 and up truck.

Dodge used to put Special Equipment tags on the older trucks to let you would know the vehicle came with some non-standard parts. When you ordered parts you were to specify the truck's serial number to insure that you got the correct ones.
