1. I notice with the gasket kit for the MU-2 that two bearing retainer gaskets are 1/64" and two are 1/32". Do you use a dial gauge to check side to side on the worm shaft to decide what thickness to use? I pulled off five gaskets from my winch when I disassembled it for blasting and painting.
2. On the cable drum, I see the socket made to take the cable as well as the holes for the U bolt on the side. Are both used to attach the cable to the drum?
