Both clutch and worm keys are very hard tempered and brittle. Trying to remove them generally results in chips broken off. Unless they are broke, or you need to replace a very worn housing bushing, it's best to leave them alone. You can weld a nut and use a slide hammer, but if you're planning to use the winch, you'll need to replace them and they are about $35 + each.
