All fuel tanks I have ever seen in boats, (at least boats with outboards), have a one way primer bulb in the line that needs to be pumped to prime the engine. I understand this also pressurizes the fuel system, and will not work if air can leak in. Sooooo, I presume the outboard fuel tank is NOT vented. Maybe someone will help out here. Jerry
