Joe,My mom broke her hip at 89 years old. I remember getting the call that day. She had just had dinner and they would not operate until the next day. She is now 92 and living in a nursing home. She gets around with a walker very slow and is rather weak but she walks. It's been a long 5 years watching her slip down hill but my wife and I have always been there for her.
We all seem to find strength somehow.
Our thoughts are with you and your mom.
