shipping ups involves brokerage fees, although it is the most reliable. either way, the shipper has forms to fill out with stated dollar values. some shippers put the dollar value below the tariff threshold. i think it is 20.00 for canada. any reputable seller should be able to handle shipping either way, after all, as a buyer you should be in the drivers seat.
