The reason i have ask why is in many years of rebuilding engines i have replaced only one wrist pin > that was because it was a warranty repair and was specified by the manufacture
.what had gone wrong to cause wear on the pin itself the pin being hard and bushings in place > perhaps timing out for a great period of time and was "pounding" on the pins > both bushings and piston are softer than the . Once i saw rods in the wrong way and the oil holes didnt get oil "UP" i would be curious to why the pins are worn ,unless you have a million miler then thats a different story > please keep me posted ~ Copey
