The old National Geographics used to always have people exploring wild places in Land Rovers, but the only mention I found of a Dodge was in an article about a trip across the Sahara Desert, where they mentioned a Dodge Power Wagon that belonged to an oil exploration company pulling their Land Rover out of a sand dune. Anyway, I was reading my old Geographics and finally found an M37. May, 1962, page 716, "Atomic reactor trench takes shape at Camp Century, 886 miles from the North Pole" There's the front of what appears to be a rag-top M37 w/o arctic kit, and in the background, two M29 Weasels. There are also two early civilian jeeps on page 654 in an article about the future Canyonlands National Park, one pulling the other out of some quicksand, and the wreckage of some tracked WWII vehicle on a beach in New Guinea on page 589.
