If it's one of the Orange Box units, hear they are touchy about a lot of things. Look at the resistance of the coil - it took me a couple of hours on Sumitt to suss out the right coil - look for the Accell MOPAR.

I think they are also sensitive to heat, vibration and voltage spikes. I'm going to mount mine inside the cab with a cooling fan , rubber mounts and a filter in the power supply (Mallory makes a filter setup, btw).
