All it does is split the lines and turn on a light when you lose pressure in one side of the system. You should know when something goes wrong anyway so you don't really need the light. The proper brass tee will do the job. My '67 W200 already had the dual master cylinder but I redid all the brake lines and used the original block like pictured. I have a Mico brake lock to install and when I do I will replace the block with a tee.
