for max speeds in low range without overdrive see you data plate on dash or here is a pic of a repro I had made.
Low range has nothing to do with highway driving. it is only for when you get in a pinch off road you shift the Tcase into "low range". "lower" gearing means lower speeds. so the higher the number on gear ratios the slower you go. read the TM manuals about vehicle operation and they explain things well.
