A shot body may be hard to repair. Sheet metal is not always available and is not usually cheap. I dont mind rebuilding a shot body, but for your first truck, this may not be what you really want. Unless, you have experience in body work. I sense that your really wanting your first PW. I understand, most of us have been there. My suggestion is dont jump on just ANY PW. Wait for the right one, one that maybe requires work that you can handle. The worst thing possible it to get a PW needing more than you have experience for, or costing more than you can afford to rebuild.
