My hubs were manufactured in China. I have made LONG posts on the subject in the past. When I was working on this project I was living in China for my job. The quality is world-class, and I oversaw every single step of design and manufacture, personally. It is just up to you to decide how much it is worth to you;-)
I have heard nothing but good things about Steve's hubs as well
