Had a condensor go out on my CJ5 while on the Jeepers Jamboree once. I guy came along that had a spare (out of a Toyota Landcruiser no less) and she fired right up. I have carried a spare condensor while off roading every since.
Have fun at the rally, tell anyone I know HOWDY! for me. :-)
