my Old ass opinion is you lower the voltage you will raise the amperage ( ohms laws) so if you little pump is drawing 5 amps ie at six volts it will draw ten amps at 12 . dont be such a hinney get off your tail stimulate the economy and buy a chinnese 12 volt pump some made in indian crush connects ,some tiwaneseee wire , some south korean electrical tape , some some eastern european brass fittings ,a couple a feet of pakastainy rubber hose ,and pay some state and federal taxes Copey
