Naturally aspirated, so many plumbing probs solved. Revs pretty high, bolts to Chevy tranny. The M1009 Blazer I had got 22mpg, ran like a small block on the freeway- with um 3.21 gears. And there's many guys love that motor, claiming 300k lifespan.

This is the Detroit diesel, not to be confused with the earlier 350 CID Oldsmobile boat anchor.

Would be a cheap swap, I have one under a tarp.
