Ther's also now 37X12.5R16.5 radial Swamper SSRs and radial Wrangler M/Ts. But neither one is as tall as Michelin 11.00R16s (38.7" vs. 36.5-37") and the 11.00s offer almost as much flotation (within 10% the footprint) as the 16.5s. You'll be going to a lot of trouble to make these wheels. You can have new 8.25 or 9.75X16.5 wheels made up by Stockton rim & Whee; with the 5 bolt pattern for $125-$150 each.
Also, you could get a set of 325/85R16 XML Michelins and mount them on the split rims. These are 38.7" tall and 12.8" wide. 16" wheels have much better bead retention at low pressures than 16.5s.
If you are thinking about bias ply tires 40" or taller (like 40s, 42s or 44s) be aware the 8.25" wide Hummer rim is pretty narrow for tires with section widths of 15-19.5"
Also, if you want ultra big tires you'd be better off with 20" rims; there's lots of things up to 52" in that size of course.
Seems like a lot of trouble for limited gain, but maybe you have something in mind I'm not thinking about.
