According to a Cummins rep I talked to at a trade show, Ford never owned more than about ten percent of Cummins and had sold that about a year ago. In any case, the profit from selling engines would make it a win-win situation for cummins to sell to as many different companies, no matter who owns Cummins. If Detroit produces a scaled down version of the Series 60 to be used in the light truck market it would certainly give
Cummins a run for their money. The Series 60 has made believers out of a lot of truck fleets.
