I know this isn't in the normal vein for this forum, but there has to be someone who has an answer for me! I'm in the process of rebuilding a Quadrajet for my 73 W200. The bores for the primary throttle shaft are pretty worn, and I hate the idea of putting on a carb that has a built-in vacuum leak. I also remember a couple of years ago seeing an article in a magazine about somebody offering a kit to fix these worn bores. It consisted of some bushings and a special drill, and I think it also covered the secondary shaft bores too. But alas, despite having what seems like every magazine I have ever bought, and a few more I think, I couldn't find this article. Does anyone know where I might be able to find out who offers such a kit, so that I can get this pile of parts all put together and off my workbench? For that matter, does this even sound familiar to anyone, or am I just having another strange dream? Thanks for the help, Morpar
