Fellow offered me a "really nice, rust free", Kaiser M-715 in exchange for one of my Power Wagons ('52 with a flatbed). In Fred Crimsons book of military wheeled vehicles, he states that the 715 series were replaced after only a few years because of reliability problems. With 4 PW's sitting around (and they all need a little work), I dont need anymore headaches. I want a vehicle that I can put a snowplow, gin pole, vise, anvil, welder, toolbox, brushfire silde in rig, winch, rear hoist, and any other piece of equipment I see fit for use as a "Cowboy Utility Vehicle" and I would rather not tear up one of the beloved PW's doing it. But I dont want to spend all my time broke down in the bush fixing the darn thing either. I dont know anything about these 715's either. He said he had a ambulance version also. What gives?
