I'd like to see an educated discussion of swivel frames with open diffs vs. conventional with lockers. I will bet that on a ramp test the locker equipped conventional rig will do just as well or possibly even better than a swivel rig with open diffs. As long and one rear and one front tire is on a tractive surface and the rig isn't high centered, the locker equipped truck has the same tractive force as if both wheels were grounded on each axle.
I with one of the 4WD mags would do a ramp test of one of these super "articulation" rock crawling rigs with open diffs vs. some "normal" rig with F/R lockers.
A pair of Lockrights costs us about $500 for parts. And I wonder about the safety of swivel rigs, especially on the highway. These are things I really don't know the answer to but I'd like to see someone do a bit of research.
