Like I've expounded, it seems the NP200 or whatever we call the WC62/63 TC evolved into the M37 version (identical except for flanges and 1.96 instead of 1.50 low range); the NP201 was next, it has a centered output and an odd 10 bolt PTO; next, the NP205 came. I think but I'm not 100% positve, as I've stated previously, that NP200 parts can be used to turn a 205 into an offset or dual output version.
BTW: did any of you see in Power Wagon Advertiser what Paul Caudell built for an African missionary outfit? On a WC63 chassis, a M37 cab, a long flatbed, nice winch, and Hercules diesel with 4.89s and one (the front rear axle) Lockrighted axle.
What happens when both rear axles are lockered in a WC62/63? for that matter, both when both rears are Detroit Lockered in a 2.5 or 5 ton?
