Take care of it and it'll last you a LONG time. Best, cheapest tip I can give you is throw a paintbrush in your saw bucket to wipe the chips and dust off around the filler plugs when you refill.
I normally take 2 saws. One to limb and run the 2 ft and under stuff and a bigger one for the logs. Ran a Stihl 009 for years and those little guys keep going. So light you can saw all day without getting tired.
Current lineup is a Stihl 192C and a MS660.
Nothing run with Oregon safety chain(what Walmart sells last I checked) on smaller saws. When sharp, they cut well for what they are. If you want a non safety chain(no kickback protection) try a Stihl RSC. It'll rip if you have the HP to pull it.
