If you're going to mount a 900/16 as the spare, you need to cut part of the top rail of the bed to get it to fit. It will not fit on the runner board if you don't want it to stick out past the bed/runner board. The mount you have is correct- it was never intended for a 900/16, only a 7.50/16. I can send you some photos of the modification if needed, just send me an email.
