I can see that. 1st gear the whole time. skidding that day was about 1/2 mile ach way. and countless trips with logs in skid. Iwas able to use 2nd gear as it was flat 3/4s of the distance
My buddies with V8 trucks always use more fuel than I do offroad though. expecially in the snow. pushing fat tires thru snow consumes lots of gas.
