If you dont do soundproofing, its noisy.
I have soudproofed 3 of my conversions and can enjoy the CD's while I drive. My Bumblebee gets the soundproofing this summer. I use 3 layers of peel and seal available from Lowes. Its a rubber/asphalt with a heavy aluminum outter. Easily contours, sticks like crazy.
Then I put outdoor carpet on top. Works like a charm and is cheap. Look at Smokeys Album and you can see the sound proofing going down
