I will take another look and adjust the valves with the motor running, which is supposed to be easy on a slant 6. At this point, the damage may be done, though. This engine was overhauled in 2002, used hard until 2007, and not used much since. All cylinders except the bad one have 100 psi compression. It really makes me think that something was not put together right when they overhauled it. For all I know, they've been driving it on 5 cylinders the whole time.
