Fleabag here, been trying to get a few miles on the 59 Power Giant lately, but not real successful, blew out another disc in my back and going back to the surgeon tuesday to see what he's going to do for me. I was wanting to go to Ron's this weekend but Iowa might be a stretch just have to see when I will operated on. This happened last year at this exact same time, that was operation number two. Anyway going to try and get to Iowa and then to Vermont in July. When I bought this truck some said keep the flathead and enjoy the truck, well I put the 4bt in with the 5speed overdrive and other than a few little things that I'm still working out I'm glad I did the conversion. This is going to be a daily driver and will get 15,000 to 20,000 miles a year on it. Paul was a great source on this build. I think he was about to pull his hair out a couple of times when I was doing the wiring but after getting over a mis communication it was a breeze, also Tom, Ron, Leon, AAA, Jerry, many more that have helped and answered questions and found parts posted link's etc. This truck also has 4 wheel disc hydro boost brakes and stop's better than any truck I have ever owned. Hope to make as many rally's as possible when I get the back straitened out. I want to meet all the people I have had contact in the last few years. Still some things to work out and finish on the truck but I am retired now and I am committed to make this an enjoyable truck to own and drive. Duane.
