Should do it like on the trucks. Grease-able is good if you have bronze bushes or metal liners inside rubber bushes. Pins (bolts) should be welded to the plates on one side so shackle effectively becomes one piece, then nylock nuts on the other side. With the rocking hinge system and the type of work a trailer does, you get a lot more wear per mile than in a single spring arrangement.
