I too built a 6X6 with power steering. I used the pitman arm from a 3/4 ton dodge 4x4. It fit perfecly on the late model steering box. Then cut the drag link and used a tie rod end to connect it to the pitman arm. So it has the original ball stud at the axle end and a modern tierod end at the pitman arm. After cutting the drag link I threaded the hollow end and inserted a stud. Then used a split tie rod adjusting sleeve to connect the drag link halves together.
