this topic has been on here before and it seems that bronze tcase brkts., spring mounts, tail light brackets, 6x6 driveline carrier bearing brkts, and some other parts are sometimes found in bronze. I think they cast whatever they had on hand at the foundry that day. even 7 or 8 years ago Dodge ran out of plastic intake manifolds for the 2.0 engine built in Michigan so a very small number of 2.0 Chrylser engines have aluminum intakes. they are sought after by the racing crowd.
