So many of these trucks are sold with bill of sale only as the titles have been lost many years earlier. There is nothing wrong with purchasing a truck with either a bill of sale or title and transfering it to another owner without putting it in your name. There is not any law I am aware of that says I have to title or register a vehicle stored on my property, or an expiration of a signed title document.
