I saw somewhere on a site about racing flat heads that you could and somebody was spinning 218s up to 6000 rpm, but you can`t do it with 230´s and up because the rods are offset, and the 230s are not offset. I´m not mechanic but I thought I´d throw this out there as I did read it somewhere. Why are the rods offset in the 230s and up, if in reality they are???
