Gotta love Craigs list. Just bought this old Companiion Grinder for 35 bucks. very smooth and quiet. Only a 1/4 horsr job but the big armeture gives it some torque! I once bought a 1/2 horse chinese one and first time a part got sucked into the wire wheel it bent the wimpy shaft. Companion (Sears & Roebuck) was not the highest grade back in those days but it should last me a number of years.
