i have disassembled 50-60 windshield regulators and of those i have found five with the center wheel hole off center.
they measure between .050 and .070 out.
this causes the regulator to wump/wump like an old bias ply tire. it also causes damage to the other gear. i have not been able to pin the defect down to specific years. maybe these wheels were from a specific supplier? any input will be appreciated.
has anyone else ran into this? and if so what year truck?
